I was concerned about the change in product and had difficult time figuring what shade to purchase [bought online and it was after-hours so I could not call and ask someone as the store was closed]. Anyway, did the three question test to figure out shade and it turned out to be too light. They said I could return it at one of their stores but that is a pain as the store is not easily accessible at our mall. Overall, I was very frustrated and wish they had not discontinued the original product. It would have been better to offer both.

I was excited when I saw the Body Shop was into mineral makeup, and even more so that it was a cream. Mineral powders are wasteful. While this product goes on smoothly, and coverage is fair, it's greasier than I thought it would be and rubs off easily.

new mineral product

So far I like this product. It goes on smooth and I like that it provides enough coverage to even out my skin tone, but doesn't cover my freckles, which makes a more natural finish. There is a good assortment of shades too which is great- often I'm not light enough for the light tones but the medium can be too dark. It is great when I can actually find a matching shade!
However, I didn't love the brush that came with it and used the body shop flat foundation brush. That worked a lot better.
