I was excited when I saw the Body Shop was into mineral makeup, and even more so that it was a cream. Mineral powders are wasteful. While this product goes on smoothly, and coverage is fair, it's greasier than I thought it would be and rubs off easily.

So far I like this product. It goes on smooth and I like that it provides enough coverage to even out my skin tone, but doesn't cover my freckles, which makes a more natural finish. There is a good assortment of shades too which is great- often I'm not light enough for the light tones but the medium can be too dark. It is great when I can actually find a matching shade!
However, I didn't love the brush that came with it and used the body shop flat foundation brush. That worked a lot better.

I was excited to try this new product, but I just don't love it. It performs about as well as something I could buy from the drug store.
Pros: Goes on pretty quickly, and no powdery mess. The applicator brush that's included is nice.
Cons: For me, it didn't go on smoothly. Even after thoroughly blending, I'd find it settling into fine lines around my eyes quickly. "Extra Virgin" sounds light, but it feels a bit heavy. Despite of that, I didn't feel like the coverage was that great. And a "mineral" make up without even an SPF 15? C'mon now?!
I'm going back to the Body Shop's powder mineral foundation.

Not what I expected.

Right now I am finding that this product is making my face just too shiny. I am hoping come winter, when my skin is drier that it will work better.
