Not a sweet chocolate scent

It's a nice scent, but not what I was expecting. That said, the moisture can't be beat. It does go on greasy at first, but it soaks in rather quickly. As I mentioned about the lotion, do not get this in your mouth (as in do NOT lick your fingers after using this) as the taste is horrid! But I do love it as an all over moisturizer for my dry skin!

Sort of weird scent

I've tried just about every TBS body butter and the Chocomania is definitely one of the most different. If you order this expecting it to smell like hot chocolate or a chocolate candy, guess again. It smells rich and nutty, but more like the unsweetened cocoa powder I use for baking. After 10 minutes or so it takes on a strong musky scent. It definitely wasn't love the first time I tried it, but I did grow to like it. It's probably one of the most dense TBS body butters I've used. After all, it's got some of the longest list of moisturizers that I've ever seen I do prefer body butters that are a bit more creamy. I find that this one takes a while to integrate well with my skin and can feel a bit greasy at first. However, it does provide all day moisture. I wouldn't go as far as TBS does and claim that it provides 48 hour moisture, though. I love that it provides a nice sheen to my skin. It also helps heal dry patches if used on a regular basis. Not my favorite scent from TBS (that would be Brazil Nut!) but it is good. Is it the best chocolate scent out there? No, probably not. But still worth it for TBS body butter junkies to give it a try.

Was not sure how much I would like this product but, with its first use, I was sold. It does not have a strong chocolate scent but the scent is definitely there, a wonderful hot chocolate with marshmallows scent that I find delightful. Heavier and more full-bodied than other butters, it is oilier than some but definitely does its job and does provide longer moisturizing properties than other butters I have tried. Will definitely be buying more as my dry/sensitive skin really benefits from its use.

I Love It!

I love Chocomania. I work 3rd shift and occassionally have to make appointments first thing in the morning, after showering at night I'm still able to smell shower fresh for my appointments in the am. The smell is long lasting. I love the way it makes my body feel.
