Love This Butter-Nice Fragrance

I was leery of this scent because the Coco and Shea make me ill, but I was surprised that the smell didn't bother me. I also use the Spa Wisdom Africa Shea & Sesame Hand & Foot Butter, which I love, and even that light fragrance bothers me on some days. This chocolate doesn't bother me at all, and I've used it every day for several weeks. It doesn't smell like a chocolate bar, however, it does make me crave chocolate, so if you love chocolate and are trying to cut down, don't buy this. I'm serious. It lasts a long time, but not 48 hours. I have very dry skin. I'm not sure what the recent reviewers are reacting to smell wise, as I have fragrance sensitivities and I was surprised that the smell DIDN'T bother me... Oh well, it tastes bitter (who puts this stuff on their lips?) I haven't!

I was excited to hear that Body Shop was coming out with a chocolate body butter. I've always loved every body butter fragrance I've ever gotten from Body Shop in the past, and I was expecting a rich, natural chocolate scent.
The product smells nice when you open the jar, but there's a heavy perfume undertone that became overpowering once I applied it before bed, and permeated everything, even making it difficult to sleep. I had to rewash all my bedclothes, etc. to get rid of the smell.
I'm not able to use the product, which is quite disappointing.

i have tried many of tbs body butters and this is by far my favorite. all of their butters are extremely moisturizing and have great scents but this one works the best. it gives you 48 hours of moisture so its a better deal then the other ones because its the same price. its really rich and creamy but not greasy at all. the scent is great too! would def. recommend other chocomania items, and would def recommend this butter.

Scent too strong

I purchased this on line because I needed a long lasting body butter. I should have gone to a store to purchase this. The scent is very overpowering and stays forever and it is almost impossible to wash off. I will not be using this.
It moisturizes great but scent is too much
The body shop needs to produce more unscented items.
