Lovely Hand Cream

This is the first hand cream I have tried from The Body Shop and I am enjoying it so far. I love the smell of rose, which influenced my decision to try the Wild Rose Hand Cream over the other varieties. I will agree with other reviews that the fragrance is strong, but not too strong for me. I actually like the strong smell since I can continue to smell the beautiful rose scent even after applying. As for the performance, it leaves my skin nicely hydrated and soft. I have also noticed that the complexion of the skin on my hand is slightly more even. Not a huge difference, but I've only been using it for about a week so far.

Unexpected smell

I love TBS hand creams, especially the almond, which smells pretty much how you would expect and is very moisturizing. This one spreads easily/isn't too thick and is still hydrating, but the smell is really unpleasant on your hands. I love roses, and it smells like roses in the tube- but once I had it on my hands it remained super pungent and smelled of dirty wet grass more than roses. Disappointing, but if you don't have a nose definitely go for it

Doesn't sooth dry hands

I tried the wild rose hand cream because I love rose scented products. This lotion has a lovely smell that is strong at first but goes away quite quickly. I have rated this product so low because the main purpose for a hand cream is to sooth dry hands. The lotion feels good going on but almost instantly I feel as if I need more. I would stick with the body/hand butters which have a more lasting effect.

This is the only thing that helps my eczema and isn't so heavy that I can't do anything with my hands for hours. I love the scent--like a bouquet of fresh roses--and how pretty it makes my hands look. It evens my skin tone, fades my weird freckles that I suspect are early sun spots, keeps my cuticles from looking cracked and moisturizes my nails too. I wash my hands a ton since I am in school and work in a preschool and this was a lifesaver this past winter. The only minor issue (one that's greatly overshadowed by the other benefits) is the metal packaging. I kept the travel size in my purse and when it was almost empty it got a crack in the side and I got lotion on my purse. It taped up okay though but I tend to stick to using this at home now. I'm going to go put some on now! (and I'll keep using my tablet without making a mess since it absorbs so quickly!)
