Not a fan of gel sticks

I am not a fan of gel deodorant sticks to begin with, so that is my own fault for wanting to try this one out. I really love TBS and love buying natural products so I figured i'd give the deodorant a try.
To me, it doesn't leave me dry for very long and the smell dies away. I've been using Ban deodorant for a while and I've only had to reapply it about twice during a normal day (no working out or a non-high-sweat-day), but i've had to reapply this deodorant several times during the day.
I might purchase the roll on stick or purchase a powder deodorant from another natural product company and use it with this one because I don't want to waste the product.
On the plus, the smell is very nice, though it smells almost like mens deodorant...or is that just me?
Anyways, like I said, I don't like gel sticks, and this one is no different. However, if you're a fan of gel sticks, don't take my review to heart because you might like this one as well.

Outstanding Natural Deodorant , much better than Toms and most of the other ones I have tried at whole foods also . Please continue to make this product .

I have been looking everywhere for a natural deodorant that works and does not feel sticky. At first I really liked this product. It drys quickly so you do not have that wet feeling and smells great which is a plus. I have found that it works good if its just an average day. If I am working out or its hot out it does not last all day at all. I really want to love this but just wished it lasted a little longer. I still use it most days but have went back to Dove deodorant if I think I will need it.

I was disappointed...

After years of waiting for The Body Shop to have deodorant again, I have to admit it did not work well for me. I found I needed to reapply every 3-4 hours in the summer. I avoid aluminum deodorants like the plague and most smell too masculine or floral. It may just not work with my body chemistry. I've had a hard time finding one without aluminum that did. I won't mention names here as that's just tacky! I'd much prefer to get it from The Body Shop though. *pouts*
