This is probably the only Body Shop product that I would definitely review negatively. It was pretty disappointing, just because it did NOT work as a deodorant! I'm glad that they tried making a deodorant, and it smelled good, but when I put on a lot this weird white, foamy and very noticeable residue would form on my underarms. Also the deodorizing did not last long. In a few hours you could smell the sweat. When my boyfriend started complaining about it (cringe), that's when I knew I definitely had to switch to something different.

It smelled too masculine and more importantly it feels sticky on. It does not protect against wetness and stinkiness (ewwww) as well as drug store brands. Overall, I would not purchase again.

Definitely not what I expected.

I usually purchase cheap drug store deodorant, but decided to "splurge" on some nice deodorant. It was a spontaneous buy while I was shopping the mall one day. I needed deodorant anyway. I was really excited. I felt like I was buying something really nice for myself.
When I applied the deodorant, it felt cool and soothing. I liked it. However, after about 4-5 hours, I started to notice a hint of body odor breaking through. Let me make one thing clear. This NEVER happens to me. Even using the drug store deodorant that costs $2. I have a problem with wetness, but NEVER odor.
I thought maybe I hadn't applied enough or something, but no... It has happened every day since I've begun using it. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now. I have to apply this deodorant about 3 times a day to stay odor-free. And it definitely doesn't keep me dry either.
I convinced my husband to try it to see if maybe my body chemistry just didn't work with it... For him, it was even worse. After about an hour, he smelled RANK. And it wasn't a usual body odor smell, it was really strange and unusual.
So, to say the least, I am very disappointed in this deodorant, and I wouldn't recommend it. Sorry, Body Shop... but this product needs some work :(
