I was huge fan of the Vitamin E Cream Cleanser until I discovered this exfoliator. This has to be the holy grail of all cleansers. With the regular cream cleanser, I didn’t feel as though my face was completely clean because of the creaminess of the product. However, because I was constantly breaking out, this was the most gentle cleanser for me. It didn’t completely help with my breakouts though & since I was already a fan of the Vitamin E line, I decided to give the exfoliator a try & I’m absolutely grateful that I did. I started off by alternating this with the cream cleanser every other day because I’ve read you’re only supposed to exfoliate a twice a week. But I noticed that my skin felt a lot better on the days that I used the exfoliator so I started using it every day. This exfoliator isn’t like others; it has the right amount of scrub & is gentle enough for everyday use. Within a few days of using this product consistently, there was noticeable improvement to my skin. My skin cleared up within 1-2 weeks. If I do get a break out, it’s only once a month & it’s usually a small blemish which clears up in a day or two. It has also SLOWLY but noticeably starting lightening up past acne scars. My face definitely looks a lot healthier & family/friends have also noticed the difference. I cannot stop raving about this product. I highly recommend it.

I have super combination skin that is oily at times and dry at other times. I was a bit skeptical to try this because often the moisture heavy products cause me to break out, but not this one! I love this scrub that is very gentle and removes makeup as well!

Versatile Product

This product is much more versatile than Body Shop gives it credit for. While the instructions say to only use it two to three times a week, I use it daily with no ill effects. On the contrary, my complexion is the best it has ever been, and I am not young. It is sufficiently mild that it does not cause abrasions when used frequently, but still acts as a wonderful "scrub" to get rid of dead skin, blackheads and all the other "stuff" that we wish weren't on the surface of our faces. I find it especially effective on the neck, which as one ages becomes a problem area as far the accumulation of dead skin. The only problem with using it in this way is that it is a bit on the pricey side to use as a daily facial cleanser, but I still think it is a wonderful value.
