Greasy and useless

This is an oily, greasy sludge with scrubby grains that dissolve on contact and offer next to nothing in the way of exfoliation. Left my skin and my tub feeling like I rubbed myself with lard. Least favorite thing I have ever purchased from the Body Shop. Can't believe how greasy this is!

Best scrub ever!!

I have to say...I've been in the beauty industry MANY years, and have had the pleasure in trying a lot of "high end" brand name products--but none of them compare to this! I originally bought it in store during a promotion, and it was listed as a summer favorite. When I used it initially, I used it during my shower, and felt like I had to use a lot. Something hit me one day, and I decided to put a twist on how I used it. HERE'S THE TRICK: put your hair up and step into the shower. Start with your arms and use this product on your DRY skin...work your way down. You will notice that you are using only a fraction of the product, and you will truly get a wonderful scrub. (If you're sensitive at all, don't manipulate the product so long) Some of the product will drop to the shower floor, but as you step on it, you can use it to scrub your feet :) I promise you..by the time you turn the water on to start your shower, your skin will feel like silk!! Its AMAZING! I try to use it at least once a week...but for sure every other. During summer months frequent exfoliation is a must. Enjoy!

Love the fragrance, but could perform better

I really love the fresh lemon fragrance of this scrub, it is really intense and helps me wake up in the morning! But the "scrubbing" part of this product seems to dissolve quickly, which means that I have to use more than I would like to. Overall it's a great product though -I've even bought it for gifts.

This is the first scrub product I've purchased from the body shop - but based on reviews I read here I had high expectations. What I expected to receive was a scrub that was a good exfoliator that left my skin feeling smooth and polished - and that smelled like fresh lemons. What I received instead was a gel-like substance that was a sub-par exfoliator and smelled like the artificial lemon flavoring in cheap candy. This is not a good value - very over priced for the quality of the product.
