Love Hate Relationship

I wanted to take a break from mineral powders and use a liquid again for a different look and so I was excited to try the new mineral foundation from TBS. I was also very pleased that it had no parabens! It has good light/med coverage, glides on smooth and is easy to blend with fingers or foundation brush. I like the benefits of the olive oil, but having skin that is combination/oily...I am not a fan of how shiny it is and it feels more greasy than I'd like. I do like the look of a dewy finish, but at the same time, I was trying to avoid the look of shiny skin all day, especially since I live in the desert. I'm on the fence with this product, I want to love it and I'm going to use it til it's gone. But I'm not sure if I'll buy it again. But I think it'd work better for normal/dry skin types.

I really like the way it looks when you first put the makeup on but midday it is super greasy and shiny and I have super dry skin. I would not recommend it.

Flawless Skin

I was completely amazed by this liquid foundation the first time I put it on. This is the first time I have actually used a liquid mineral foundation (as opposed to mineral powder) and I could not believe how flawless my skin looked all day. I have combination skin, and this kept my face looking fresh all day. Close up I couldn't even tell I was wearing any make-up - just flawless skin.

I bought this product because I'm a big fan of olive oil facial products, and the rose ivory color sounded perfect for me. I have sensitive, oily skin and have found that olive oil is the best moisturizer. The color looked dark when I first saw it, but it is abolutely perfect! As far as the oily-ness of my skin, it was no better or worse than any other foundation; I can't use products made for oily skin because they dry me out. I blot a couple of times a day with a napkin, and my skin really does look dewy.
