There's nothing like a rose...

I've used Body Shop products for over twenty years, so obviously I'm a huge fan. I love this particular body butter because of its subtle rose scent; I tend to use it before going out, because it blends well with perfume- you wouldn't want to wear Satsuma with perfume, for instance! It also leaves the skin silky and petal-like. As others have noted, if your skin is very dry, you probably won't want to make this your 'everyday' butter- but for 'special', it's great.

That said, it smells fabulous, and it wears well - very subtle. I love the entire line and the body butter doesn't disappoint, EXCEPT if you're suffering from moderate or worse dry skin. This body butter doesn't moisturize nearly as well as the brazil nut or the hemp body butters. If you're looking for a nice scent and you're just a little dry, this is the product for you!

I don't prefer this floral smell, it seems that for me the rose is over powering. It is a rosy-floral woody smell. The moisturizer is great and seems like a perfect balance for my skin.

THE BEST SMELL EVER!!! This is such a wonderful body butter which moisturizes the skin all day and also smells heavenly just like button roses. I feel so girly and flirty. The other day when my DH came home from office, he said the whole house smelt like rose and he absolutely loved it on me. WIN WIN :)
