Really, Really Smells Like Roses!

I bought this Body Butter because I sampled it in a Body Shop. Couldn't believe it! I love the smell of roses and this is absolutely the only body "lotion" I've found that really smells like roses. I've since bought it for several friends as gifts just because of that. It's not a strong scent (except at first), but it does linger, leaving you smelling like a rose for several hours. It's not overwhelming, but if someone is close to you, it will give off a light, true rose scent which they will smell: very seductive. Like all the Body Shop body butters, it does a great job of moisturizing the skin. I have very dry skin and use this whenever I'm going out to a party/event, no need for perfume. I'll smell like a subtly fragrant rose the whole evening, but only if someone is close to me. Ooh la la...

It works well without irritating my skin, which is very sensitive due to eczema. The scent is subtle, and amazing.

Perfect rose scent

I normally purchase the Vitamin E body butter with a very, very light scent. But because of the good reviews for the Moroccan Rose, I decided to try it. I was not disappointed! The scent is the most perfect rose scent I've ever smelled. I put a little extra on my hands so that I can get a whiff of it every now and then. The butter glides on smoothly and has been a great moisturizer for these dry winter days. My problem now is that I am torn between this Moroccan Rose and the Vitamin E. Both excellent!

Soft, older rose scent

I am picky about my rose scents, and this one is an ideal older rose. Not vibrant fresh-cut roses, but the scent of a perfect bouquet 4 days after they've been cut. The scent is not overpowering, but does last a long time.
The moisture is middle of the road. Not super thick and heavy for winter dry skin, but not thin and light for summer. For me I use this before a special event and save my other butters for daily, after-shower use. You wear this for the scent and not for the moisture anyway!
